Terms of service

1. Introduction

Welcome to BentBucks.com ("BentBucks," "we," "our," or "us"). BentBucks.com is operated by Haas & Reed B.V., located at Mantelmeeuwhof 15, 3582DN, Utrecht. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BentBucks website, services, and applications. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use BentBucks. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. We may require proof of age and identity verification.

3. Account Registration and Security

• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password. Do not disclose it to any third party.
• Notify BentBucks immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Use of the Service

BentBucks provides a verified digital wallet for secure online transactions. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: engaging in illegal activity, transmitting objectionable material, impersonating BentBucks or other users, interfering with the Service, or engaging in fraudulent payment activities including unauthorized chargebacks. The full list of prohibited uses is set out in Section 5.

5. Prohibited Uses

To keep BentBucks safe and to meet the rules of the card networks, banks and payment providers we work with, you may not use BentBucks, or any balance held with us, for or in connection with any of the following. This list is not exhaustive.

Adult and sexual content

• Pornography, sexually explicit or erotic content, or any material intended for sexual gratification, in any form, including images, video, audio, live streams, text, chat and games.
• Adult services of any kind, including escort, companionship, webcam, phone or chat services of a sexual nature, and sexual massage.
• AI-generated, synthetic or manipulated material that would fall into any of the categories above.
• Sexually oriented physical goods, or links and referrals to websites or services that offer any of the above.

BentBucks and the Bent platforms that accept it (BentVox and BentGame) are general-audience services. Content of this kind is not permitted on them and will be removed.

Illegal and harmful activity

• Any activity that is illegal in the Netherlands, in your country of residence, or in the country where a transaction takes place.
• Any content or activity that involves, depicts or sexualises minors, or that could reasonably appear to involve a person under 18.
• Content or activity involving any person who has not given their consent, including non-consensual, hidden-camera or "revenge" material, or any material that suggests a lack of consent.
• Human trafficking, sexual exploitation, prostitution or escort services, or any other offer of in-person sexual services.
• Content depicting or promoting bestiality, incest, rape, extreme violence, mutilation, or the death of a person.
• Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that promotes violence or discrimination against any person or group.
• Material that infringes the intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights of others.

Restricted goods and services

• Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or their components.
• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, or prescription medicines.
• Gambling, betting, lotteries, or games of chance with a monetary prize.
• Investments, securities, cryptocurrency trading, or any financial product or service.
• Counterfeit, stolen, or replica goods.

Financial misuse

• Money laundering, terrorist financing, or any attempt to disguise the source or destination of funds.
• Using BentBucks as a means of transferring money or value to another person, or as a cash equivalent.
• Reselling, trading, exchanging, or transferring BentBucks or your account to anyone else, on or off our platforms.
• Using a payment card, bank account or other payment method that you are not authorised to use.
• Filing false or abusive chargebacks or payment disputes, or topping up with the intention of reversing the payment.
• Structuring top-ups to avoid fees, limits, verification, or our monitoring obligations.

Misuse of the Service

• Creating more than one account, using another person's account or identity, or providing false information during verification.
• Circumventing or attempting to circumvent our age and identity verification, including on behalf of another person.
• Using the Service if you are subject to sanctions, or from a country or region where we do not offer the Service, including by using tools to hide your location.
• Using BentBucks on any website or service other than the Bent platforms that accept it.
• Interfering with, reverse-engineering, scraping, or disrupting the Service or its security features.

Enforcement

If we reasonably believe that you have breached this section, we may, without prior notice: decline or reverse a transaction; suspend or close your account; freeze your balance while we investigate; and report the activity to the relevant payment providers, card networks, or law-enforcement authorities where we are required or permitted to do so. Balances connected to prohibited activity may be forfeited where the law allows. We may also ask you for additional information or documents to verify your identity or the source of your funds.

6. BentBucks as a Credit System

BentBucks operates as a credit system designed solely for use across the Bent platforms that accept BentBucks. It is not a peer-to-peer money transfer service, bank, or financial institution. Credits can only be used on BentVox and BentGame. They cannot be withdrawn as cash or transferred to external payment methods. All transactions are final once confirmed.

7. Fees

BentBucks may charge fees for certain services. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you incur them. We reserve the right to change our fees at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its entire contents, features, and functionality are owned by BentBucks or its licensors and are protected by international intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BENTBUCKS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any legal proceedings arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of the Netherlands.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms and update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
